Looking for a Head Chef for a medium size, traditional country Pub (in the middle of nowhere with no public transport access, nearest railway station is 6 mi away )
Need to be able to attend an interviews in person and do a trial shift.
Painfully quiet during the week, Weekends are semi busy.

Working 5 out of 7 Days (days off Monday and Wednesday)
Service Hours:
Tue, Thu, Fri 12-3/5:30-8:30
Sat 12-8:30
Sun 12-4
Responsibilities:
- Oversee all aspects of the kitchen and food production
- Create and develop menus that are innovative and appealing to customers
- Ensure high-quality food preparation and presentation
- Supervise and train kitchen staff, including scheduling and performance management
- Maintain inventory levels and order supplies as needed
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations
- Collaborate with restaurant management to meet financial goals
- Monitor food costs and implement cost-saving measures
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
Skills:
- Strong culinary skills with a focus on quality and presentation
- Excellent leadership abilities to effectively manage a team
- Knowledge of kitchen operations and food preparation techniques

The Head Chef position requires a minimum of 2 years of experience in a professional kitchen, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role. The successful candidate must have a passion for cooking, be creative, and have the ability to lead a team.
