Alexandra House is a welcoming 20-bed residential care home in Ludlow specialising in dementia and elderly care.

About the Role
As a Care Assistant, you'll support residents with their day-to-day lives while promoting dignity, independence and wellbeing.
You'll work alongside an experienced team to provide high-quality care and support in a safe, respectful and homely environment.
Responsibilities include:
- Supporting residents with personal care
- Assisting with mobility and daily living activities
- Providing companionship and emotional support
- Supporting residents living with dementia
- Promoting dignity, choice and independence
- Encouraging residents to engage in activities and social interaction
- Maintaining accurate care records
- Working as part of a caring and professional team

Shift Pattern
This role follows a fixed two-week rolling rota:
Week 1
- Monday: 3:00pm – 10:00pm
- Tuesday: 8:00am – 3:00pm
- Thursday: 8:00am – 3:00pm
- Saturday: 8:00am – 3:00pm
- Sunday: 3:00pm – 10:00pm
Week 2
- Monday: 3:00pm – 10:00pm
- Tuesday: 8:00am – 3:00pm
- Wednesday: 8:00am – 3:00pm
- Thursday: 3:00pm – 10:00pm
- Friday: 8:00am – 5:00pm

Location & Travel
Alexandra House Care Home is located in Ludlow and is easily accessible from the surrounding areas.
Applicants should be able to travel reliably to and from the home for all shifts, including early morning starts, evening finishes and alternate weekends.
Important Information
This is a permanent full-time position following the fixed shift pattern outlined above.
All appointments are subject to enhanced DBS checks and satisfactory references.
