SEMH Teaching Assistant
We are looking for a compassionate and resilient Teaching Assistant who can help nurture and guide a small group of young learners to develop both educational and life skills.
This is a vibrant SEMH school in Horncastle supporting students with Trauma informed SEMH needs from ages 7 to 16. The school is currently expanding and increasing the number of students on roll.
Key Responsibilities:
- Building strong relationships with the students
- Being a positive role model at all times
- Empowering the students to develop social skills
- Raising aspirations for the learners
Ideal Candidate Will Have:
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, enabling effective interaction with students, parents, and colleagues.
- Patience, empathy, and resilience
- Worked in education , social services , care or counselling previously
- A clear enhanced DBS on the Update service ( or willingness to apply for one)
