Shift pattern: 07.30am - 17:00pm (Days); 21:00pm - 7:00am (Wake Nights)

We are looking for compassionate and dedicated Support Workers to join a care team supporting a young person with Autism, mental health needs, and narcolepsy with cataplexy within her family home in Erdington, Birmingham.
What you’ll be doing
As a Support Worker, you’ll play an important role in helping this individual live safely, comfortably, and in a way that reflects their preferences. Your day might include:

Providing high‑quality support on a 2:1 basis or 1:1 basis

Creating opportunities for meaningful activities at home and in the community

Encouraging social interaction and promoting emotional wellbeing

Supporting communication in the way that works best for them
-
Encouraging independence with household tasks (such as washing up and tidying)

Supporting during home tutoring sessions
-
Monitoring food intake and providing prompts to eat safely
-
Supporting with personal care and continence needs
-
Observing and supporting with medication administration
-
Providing emotional support and reassurance
-
Helping with routine household tasks to maintain a calm, organised environment
