Role: Forklift Operator/Warehouse Operative
Location: Ipswich Suffolk
Pay: £13.50 per hour
Hours: Monday to Friday, 06:00 - 15:00
Are you an experienced Forklift Driver looking for a fresh start in a modern, growing warehouse? Our client has recently relocated to a brand-new facility in Ipswich and is expanding their team. If you’re reliable, safety-conscious, and ready to get started straight away, we’d love to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities:
Forklift:
- Safely operate a B1 Counterbalance Forklift Truck
- Load and unload vehicles accurately and efficiently
- Move stock, stack pallets, and maintain warehouse organisation
- Ensure daily vehicle checks are completed
Other Warehouse Duties:
- Manually unload containers and boxes up to 25kg
- Palletise and shrink wrap goods
- Being able to work on your own and within a team
- Pick, pack, label, and re-work products as needed
- Carry out general warehouse duties
What We’re Looking For:
- Valid B1 Counterbalance Forklift Licence (essential)
- Previous experience within a warehouse environment
- Confident handling palletised goods
- Ability to work in a busy, fast-paced setting
- Good communication skills and the ability to follow instructions
- Reliable, punctual, and able to commute to Ipswich
