OVERALL PURPOSE OF THE JOB:-
- to welcome guests in a polite and friendly manner providing them with all food and beverage requirements
- to ensure that an excellent level of customer care is delivered at all times
MAIN ACTIVITIES/TASKS:-
- to ensure that all food & beverages served are of the required standard
- to work within the Bar and Restaurant team to ensure that all Restaurant/Function/
Bar/Breakfast/Room Service provision is covered between all opening hours
- to work within the Bar and Restaurant team to ensure that guests dining in the Restaurant are served promptly
- to work alongside the Bar and Restaurant team to ensure that a high level of cleanliness is maintained within the food service areas
- to ensure that at all times food & drink hygiene practices are followed
- to deliver excellent customer care
- to handle cash and card payments
PHYSICAL CONDITIONS:-
- hours of work will vary depending on the needs of the business, and will involve working at weekends and some split shifts
- working in a busy food & beverage service / FOH environment
