About the role
We are looking for a highly organised and proactive Project Administrator to join our Power team based in Dartford. Supporting the successful delivery of major power infrastructure projects, you will play a key role in providing administrative, financial, logistical, and operational support to project teams across the business.
Working closely with Project Managers, Engineers, Commercial teams, site personnel, clients, and suppliers, you'll help ensure projects are delivered efficiently, compliantly, and on schedule. This is a varied and fast-paced role requiring strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
What you'll be doing
- Providing day-to-day administrative support to project and site teams.
- Processing purchase orders, goods receipting, and supporting procurement activities.
- Managing transport and fleet administration, including vehicle allocations, charging, and associated costs.
- Coordinating plant requirements, raising orders, monitoring usage, and arranging off-hires.
- Booking hotels, rail travel, specialist transport, and other logistical requirements.
- Supporting document control processes and maintaining project records and audit evidence.
- Assisting with compliance activities, including training records, competency tracking, and equipment registers.
- Producing and distributing regular project and performance reports.
- Liaising with clients, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders to support project delivery.
- Supporting wider office and site administration activities as required.
Who we're looking for
- Previous experience in a busy administrative or project support role.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise a varied workload.
- Strong communication skills and confidence working with stakeholders at all levels.
- A collaborative approach and ability to build positive working relationships.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately under pressure.
- Customer-focused with a proactive and flexible attitude.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Willingness to learn new systems and processes.
