Production Supervisor
Salary: £34,000
Hours: Monday to Friday, 48 working hours

The Role:
We are looking for an experienced and motivated Production Supervisor to join our production team. This is a hands-on supervisory role overseeing multiple departments and ensuring production targets, quality standards, and health & safety requirements are consistently achieved.
The successful candidate will ideally come from a food production or manufacturing background and have a good understanding of production machinery and processes. Previous machine operator experience would be highly advantageous.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise daily operations across the two departments (10 members of staff)
- Lead, support, and motivate production teams to achieve production targets.
- Manage and oversee temporary workers, ensuring they are working safely and efficiently.
- Monitor production schedules and ensure work is completed on time.
- Ensure machinery is operating effectively and escalate any issues as required.
- Maintain high standards of product quality, hygiene, and food safety.
- Ensure all health and safety procedures are followed at all times.
- Monitor staff performance and provide guidance and support where necessary.
- Liaise with management and other departments to ensure smooth production operations.
- Assist with training and onboarding new team members and temporary staff.
Requirements:
- Previous experience supervising in a production environment.
- Strong understanding of production machinery and manufacturing processes.
- Machine operator experience would be beneficial.
- Experience supervising teams within a production environment.
- Excellent organisational and communication skills.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Pay: £34,000.00 per year
