Pipe Layer - HS2 Project (BBV)
Location: HS2 Route - West Midlands
Employer: BBV (Balfour Beatty VINCI Joint Venture)
Position: Pipe Layer
BBV is seeking experienced and motivated Pipe Layers to join our team delivering the HS2 Project, one of the largest and most significant infrastructure projects in Europe.
Key Responsibilities:
- Installation of drainage, water, and utility pipework to project specifications.
- Laying pipes to line and level using laser equipment and site drawings.
- Working safely within excavation and trench environments.
- Assisting with backfilling, testing, and reinstatement works.
- Maintaining high standards of health, safety, and environmental compliance.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Pipe Layer within civil engineering or infrastructure projects.
- Ability to read and interpret drawings and specifications.
- CSCS Card (essential).
- CPCS/NPORS qualifications advantageous.
- Strong understanding of drainage and utility installation.
- Commitment to safe working practices and teamwork.
