Café Team Member (All-Rounder) – The Hideaway Café
The Hideaway Café is a well-established, brunch spot known for fresh good food. From our popular avocado toasts to our filled bagels with fun delicious flavours.
We’re looking for friendly, enthusiastic team members to join us. This is an all-rounder role where you’ll be involved in both the kitchen and front of house, helping deliver the full Hideaway experience.
It’s not a traditional chef role - we’re looking for people who enjoy food, are genuinely interested in learning more about cooking and ingredients, want to develop their skills and like being hands on.
What you’ll be doing:
- Preparing and plating our brunch dishes
- Working with fresh ingredients and learning how our food is made
- Serving customers and creating a welcoming atmosphere
- Taking orders and supporting the team during busy service
What we’re looking for:
- A genuine interest in food and good service
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Someone who enjoys working with people as well as being in the kitchen
- Reliable, hands-on, and a good team player
- Previous café or hospitality experience is a bonus but not essential

Pay and working days/hours will be discussed at interview and will be based on experience, reliability, and availability. We are open to conversation, as this is a flexible role and we’re keen to find the right person who fits the team and what they can bring.
