Duties
- Perform general cleaning tasks in commercial, hotel, or residential settings, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitising surfaces
- Maintain cleanliness of bathrooms, kitchens, and communal areas according to organisational standards
- Restock supplies such as toiletries and cleaning materials as needed
- Ensure all cleaning equipment is used safely and stored correctly after use
- Follow health and safety guidelines to prevent accidents and maintain a safe working environment
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly
- Assist with specialised cleaning tasks such as carpet or window cleaning when required
Skills
- Prior janitorial or commercial cleaning experience is advantageous but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidate
- Good organisational skills with an eye for detail to ensure thorough cleanliness
- Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
