IMS Robotics UK are recruiting a Technical Engineer to support specialist robotic equipment used in the drainage and pipeline rehabilitation sector. This hands-on role focuses on maintaining and repairing electrical and UV/LED-Light systems to keep operational equipment safe, reliable, and ready for deployment.

IMS Robotics was founded in 1992 in Dresden, Germany and has 40 dealerships in 30 countries around the world.
IMS Robotics UK specialises in the supply, service and repair of robots for sewer rehabilitation, and is one of the world market leaders in this field.
What will you be doing day to day ?
Maintain, fault-find, and repair UV/LED light systems used for curing and rehabilitation processes.
Diagnose electrical, control, and wiring faults on robotic equipment and peripheral systems.
Carry out preventative maintenance inspections, testing, and safety checks to reduce downtime.
Preparation of On hire equipment
Document work completed, parts used, and any follow-up actions required.
Support continuous improvement by identifying recurring faults and suggesting reliability upgrades.
PAT testing
Be a point of contact for the hire fleet equipment
Our perfect candidate will tick the below boxes
Mechanical knowledge
Electrical engineering background (Low Voltage/Gold card) Preferred but training and support provided for the right candidate.
Organisational skills
PAT testing ( preferred )
Good use of hand tools including soldering
Great communication skills ( written and verbal )
Forklift truck licence ( preferred )
Physically fit
Keep the workshop clean, organised and compliant with health and safety standards
Report any faults, damages or safety issues to the appropriate team member
