Are you a passionate technologist ready to inspire the next generation of engineers and designers? Leigh Academy Wilmington is seeking a dynamic Teacher of Design & Technology to join our forward-thinking department.

Working within the IB Middle Years Programme and across GCSE/BTEC pathways, you will deliver high-quality instruction in a modern, digital-first environment where every student and teacher is equipped with their own device.

What We Are Looking For

The ideal candidate will:

Be a passionate specialist with strong subject knowledge across Design Technology and Engineering.
Have the ability to inspire students through inquiry-based learning and hands-on projects.
Demonstrate a "can-do" attitude and a commitment to continuous improvement.
Be an inclusive practitioner who adapts teaching to meet the needs of all learners, including those with SEND.
Have experience with or an interest in the International Baccalaureate framework (desirable).

This is a permanent position which offers a competitive salary based on experience (MPS/UPS) + London Fringe Allowance.
