Lattuca Invest is a fast-growing property investment, refurbishment, and maintenance company operating across South Wales. We manage and maintain a large portfolio including residential properties, HMOs, blocks of flats, and social housing stock.
Due to continued growth, we are looking for a reliable, experienced Multi-Skilled Maintenance Operative to join our in-house team.
The Role
This is a hands-on, varied role suited to someone who takes pride in their work and can handle multiple aspects of property maintenance to a good standard. You’ll be working on live properties, voids, and planned maintenance jobs.
Key Responsibilities
- General property maintenance and repairs
- Basic plumbing (leaks, taps, traps, toilets, radiators – no gas work)
- Basic electrical works (changing sockets, switches, lights – certified works outsourced)
- Painting & decorating
- Patch plastering and making good
- Joinery (doors, skirting, architraves, basic kitchen installs)
- Flooring (vinyl, laminate, repairs)
- Damp & mould treatment works (scraping, sealing, stain blocking, repainting)
- External works (fencing, gutters, minor repairs)
- Keeping jobs tidy, safe, and completed to schedule
- Taking before & after photos where required
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience as a multi-skilled operative / maintenance engineer / handyman
- Strong all-round knowledge of residential property maintenance
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Full UK driving licence (essential)
- Good communication and time management
- High standards of workmanship – no shortcuts
- Reliable, punctual, and professional

Desirable (Not Essential)
- NVQ or trade qualifications
- Experience working on HMOs or social housing
- Damp and mould treatment experience
- DBS check (or willing to obtain)
