AMG Nursing and Care Services is seeking compassionate and reliable Community Care Workers to support a female client living with Motor Neurone Disease in the Buxton area.
This is a rewarding opportunity to provide high-quality, person-centred care within the client’s own home.
Shift Details
- Long day shifts
- Monday & Saturday
- 09:00 – 19:00
- Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday 7pm-9pm
- Location: Buxton (SK17)
Client Care Requirements
- Personalised care for a lady with Motor Neurone Disease
- Required competencies:
- PEG feeding
- Suction care
- Mechanical cough assist
Applicants must be local to the client. Shadowing shifts will be provided prior to working independently.

Essential Requirements
- A caring, professional attitude and strong values
- Aged 18 or over
- Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
- Right to work in the UK
- Relevant clinical competencies for the care package
Additional Information
- This role involves working with a vulnerable client and is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974
- An enhanced DBS check and satisfactory references are required
- Female applicants only, in accordance with the client’s preferences
- A meet and greet with the client is required prior to commencing shadow shifts
