An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our maintenance team!
As part of a multi-skilled team, working a day shift, the successful candidate will need to be able to demonstrate an excellent team working attitude, communicate with people at all levels, have a hands-on approach to problem solving, lead by example, train new starters and work under their own initiative.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform on-site reactive maintenance and general building repairs.
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure minimal disruption to production during maintenance work.
- Ensure health, safety, and environmental standards are met.
- Conduct risk assessments and participate in accident investigations.
- Support continuous improvement and lean manufacturing processes.
- Assist with the installation and commissioning of new machinery and equipment.
Skills & Requirements:
- Industry-recognised trade qualifications desirable.
- Electrical qualification or experience desirable.
- Previous relevant experience
- Strong communication, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage tasks under pressure.
- Knowledge of food industry regulations and compliance.
- Flexibility with shift changes when required.

Salary: dependent on experience
