My client, a highly regarded Legal 500 and Chambers High Net Worth-ranked firm, is seeking a skilled and motivated Private Client Solicitor to join their well-established and market-leading Private Client team based in Kettering. This is a fantastic opportunity for a solicitor with strong technical expertise to work with a respected team advising high-net-worth individuals and families on complex estate, trust, and wealth planning matters.
The Firm and Team
We are excited to offer an excellent opportunity for a talented and motivated Private Client Solicitor to join our clients Legal 500-recognised Private Client team based in their Kettering office. This is a role with real potential for growth, working alongside a supportive and dynamic team.
We welcome applications from individuals with a range of experience, ideally from 5 years PQE. You should be confident in managing your own caseload independently, while also benefiting from the collaboration, mentorship, and support of their broader Private Client teams across Northamptonshire and Leicestershire. The Role
You’ll manage a varied caseload of high-quality private client work and play an active role in strengthening client relationships and contributing to the long-term success of the department.
Key areas of work include:
- Inheritance tax and estate planning
- Administration of estates
- Drafting wills and powers of attorney
- Court of Protection work and deputyship services
- Trust creation and administration
- Advising vulnerable clients and their families
You will also work closely with other departments – including family, corporate, property, and employment – to support clients across their personal and business needs.
What My Client Is Looking For
- A minimum of 5 years’ PQE with strong technical knowledge in private client law
- Ability to manage matters independently with minimal supervision
- A proactive, client-focused mindset with a commitment to service excellence
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- A collaborative approach, with a willingness to work across departments
- Experience using probate case management systems (desirable)
- Additional qualifications such as STEP or SFE accreditation are highly advantageous
