Trainee CNC Operator
Hartlepool
£13.50 per hour (plus £1.50 shift allowance on backs)
2-Week Rotating Shift Pattern
Days: Monday to Thursday, 6:00am – 4:30pm
Backs: Monday to Thursday, 12:00pm – 10:00pm
Central Employment are working on behalf of our client to recruit a Trainee CNC Operator to join their established manufacturing team in Hartlepool.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with some exposure to CNC machinery or programming who is looking to develop their skills further on a highly specialised and complex machine.
You will receive training on a Morelli CNC machine, a key part of the production process, where precision, accuracy and attention to detail are essential.
Key responsibilities:

Operating and learning to programme a Morelli CNC machine

Assisting with machine set-up and adjustments

Following technical drawings and job specifications

Monitoring production to ensure accuracy and quality

Carrying out basic maintenance and housekeeping on the machine

Working as part of a team to meet production targets
What we’re looking for:

Some previous CNC or machine operating experience (or basic programming knowledge)

A strong interest in developing CNC skills further

Good attention to detail and a methodical approach

Ability to understand technical instructions/drawings

A reliable, positive attitude and willingness to learn

Flexibility to work a rotating shift pattern
