deVOL is a design-led manufacturer of bespoke kitchens and home accessories, designed and made in Leicestershire. We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic and has an eye for detail to join deVOL's Shop Operations team.
The perfect candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the Shop Operations Department by efficiently managing inventory, organising incoming and outgoing shipments, and ensuring a smooth flow of materials and supplies essential for deVOL's operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Your duties will include but are not limited to:
- Dispatching items sold through our website.
- Inspecting all deVOL accessories before dispatch to ensure they meet legal standards and uphold deVOL's renowned commitment to delivering top-quality products.
- Ensure all stock and packaging materials are stored correctly.
- Communicate with the Operations Manager regarding any stock control shortages or concerns.
- Inform the Operations Manager of any supplier or customer returns.
- Maintain clean and tidy areas, ensuring operational efficiency.
Skills & Attributes:
We would love you to have:
- Competent computer skills.
- The confidence to carry out a task independently (Initial training will be provided).
- Relevant logistics experience (advantageous but not necessary).
- Able to meet deadlines.
- Team player who can communicate well and work closely with others.
- Be able to travel to Shepshed.
- GCSE grades (or equivalent) A-C in Maths and English.
