The Role
We are looking for an experienced Renewable Energy Consultant to manage warm inbound enquiries and guide customers through the full journey from initial consultation through to system design, proposal and sale.
This is an office based, consultative sales role, using virtual surveys and video/phone calls rather than traditional in-home sales.
You will be responsible for designing bespoke systems, presenting proposals and converting opportunities into confirmed installations.
What You’ll Be Doing
· Responding to inbound enquiries from homeowners and small commercial clients
· Conducting consultations via phone/video to understand energy usage and requirements
· Carrying out virtual surveys to assess property suitability
· Designing tailored systems (solar, battery, heat pumps, EV chargers)
· Selecting appropriate equipment based on performance, compatibility and cost
· Preparing and presenting detailed proposals
· Explaining system performance, savings and ROI clearly
· Managing your pipeline and following up opportunities
· Converting enquiries into confirmed sales
· Providing a full handover to the installation team
What We’re Looking For
· Experience selling solar PV, battery storage and/or heat pump systems
· Strong consultative sales skills (not pushy / transactional)
· A technical mindset, able to understand and explain system design
· Ability to recommend the right solution based on customer needs
· Confident presenting solutions and closing sales remotely
· Organised and able to manage multiple enquiries
Desirable
· Experience using solar design software (e.g. OpenSolar)
· Broader knowledge across multiple renewable technologies
· Electrical / heating / construction background

Earnings & Benefits
