We are currently recruiting for a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer (Electrical Bias) to join a fast-paced manufacturing environment in the Leeds area.
This is an excellent opportunity for an electrically biased engineer with strong fault-finding ability and experience working within manufacturing, production or industrial environments.
The successful candidate will support the engineering team with both reactive and planned maintenance across a range of production and packaging machinery, while also contributing towards continuous improvement initiatives across the site.
Key Responsibilities:
- Reactive and planned preventative maintenance across electrical and mechanical systems
- Fault-finding on production and packaging machinery
- PLC fault diagnostics and basic repair
- Working with pneumatic, hydraulic and mechanical systems
- Supporting continuous improvement and reducing downtime
- Installation and commissioning of new equipment
- Maintaining health & safety and engineering standards across site
Requirements:
- NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
- 17th or 18th Edition desirable
- Experience within manufacturing or industrial maintenance
- Strong electrical fault-finding ability
- PLC fault-finding experience
- Ability to read technical drawings
- Good communication and problem-solving skills
Desirable:
- Experience with LEAN / TPM / continuous improvement environments
- Multi-skilled maintenance background
- Experience working within fast-paced production environments

Pay: £45,000.00-£55,000.00 per year
