The Role
We’re looking for an experienced creative CAD Designer with a background in bespoke fitted furniture to join our team.
This is not just a drawing role — you’ll play a key part in turning concepts into accurate, production-ready designs that flow seamlessly into our workshop.
Cnc experience preferred
You’ll work closely with our director, installers, and production team to ensure every project is efficient, buildable, and high-end in finish.

Key Responsibilities
- Produce detailed CAD drawings for bespoke fitted furniture
- Create production-ready drawings for CNC and workshop use
- Work from site surveys, sketches, and client briefs
- Carry out or assist with site surveys where required
- Design wardrobes, media walls, alcove units, dressing rooms, etc.
- Prepare cutting lists and material breakdowns
- Collaborate with the workshop team to improve build efficiency
- Assist with design improvements and problem-solving on projects

Requirements
- Proven experience in bespoke furniture or joinery design
- Strong CAD skills (e.g. AutoCAD, Fusion 360, SolidWorks, or similar)
- Experience using SketchUp for design and presentation
- Experience designing for CNC manufacturing
- Understanding of materials, fixings, and construction methods
- Ability to produce accurate, production-ready drawings
- Strong attention to detail and pride in high-end work
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, growing environment

Desirable (Bonus Skills)
- Experience with parametric design software such as Cabinet Sense or similar CNC-integrated systems
- Surveying experience or confidence carrying out site measurements
- Experience with Vectric / nesting software
- Knowledge of spray finishes and material finishes
- Experience in luxury or high-end residential projects
- Ability to contribute to design concepts (not just technical drawings)
