The Spirit Circle on High Street in Belfast launched in April 2022 and is home to two of the most talked about experiential drinks experiences on the island of Ireland - Sensorium and Belfast by the Glass.
Sensorium is an interactive sensory cocktail experience where guests are taken on a journey through their senses with fun experiments as we try to work out what their perfect drink is, and then serve it to them! Belfast by the Glass is an alternative history of Belfast, through drinks where we tell the story of Belfast from 1122 to 2026 showcasing a range of spirits and flavours from Belfast and beyond.
We are now looking for a part-time Duty Manager to join the team! The successful applicant will be fully trained in all things The Spirit Circle and will commence the role as soon as possible.
Core Responsibilities:
You will work closely and report to the Operations Manager, managing a small team throughout the shift covering everything from set up, running of shift and break down at the end of the day. Cleanliness of the building and setting the right atmosphere for our guests. Ensuring customer service is to a high standard and guests leave having had the “wow factor”. Bar experience is essential as you will be required to help make drinks. You will be involved with stock control with weekly stock counts and orders, along with menu development every season.
This role will involve plenty of stairs, some heavy lifting and moving stock etc.

Wage: £14.50 per hour. Hours: Minimum 30 Hours Per Week
Days of work: Thursday, Friday, Saturday essential. Additional hours are as business required.
Essential Criteria
2 year’s experience in hospitality
Be able to work with a team
Be an excellent communicator
Be willing to learn
Passionate about drinks
Desired Criteria
Experience in tourism experiences
1 year’s experience as a bartender
1 year’s experience as a supervisor
