Job Title: Trainee Timber Frame Erector
Location: Must be based locally to the Hucknall area or sounding areas (work across the Midlands, Yorkshire, and South Midlands)

About the Role
We are looking for a Trainee Timber Frame Erector to join our growing team working on new-build housing developments. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to start a career in the roofing and timber frame industry while learning from an experienced team within one of the UK’s leading timber frame roof installation companies.
This role would suit someone with a joinery/carpentry background or a college student or recent graduate who is looking to get hands-on experience in the construction industry.
Requirements
- Must hold a valid CSCS card
- Must be local to the Hucknall area
- Joinery or carpentry background is an advantage
- College students or trainees looking to enter the industry are encouraged to apply
- Hardworking, reliable, and willing to learn
- Ability to work on construction sites and as part of a team
Key Responsibilities
- Learning how to read and understand panel layout drawings
- Assisting with erecting timber frame roof systems on new-build housing sites
- Helping install roof windows into roof cassettes
- Assisting the slinger/signaller in sending the correct roof cassettes.
- Fitting fire socks once the roof is installed according to standard details
- Assisting team members with:
- Installing structural joists
- Installing gable ladders
- Fitting fascia and soffits
- Other aspects of roofing carpentry and timber frame installation
