Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Caretaker to oversee the maintenance and cleanliness of various premises. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that facilities are kept in excellent condition, providing a safe and welcoming environment for all users. Responsibilities
- Perform routine cleaning and maintenance tasks across designated premises, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and waste disposal
- Ensure all areas are kept hygienic, tidy, and presentable at all times
- Conduct minor repairs or report major issues to appropriate personnel promptly
- Maintain cleaning supplies inventory and organise equipment storage efficiently
- Adhere to health and safety regulations during all cleaning activities
- Assist with setting up spaces for events or meetings as required
- Monitor the condition of facilities and report any damages or hazards immediately
- Follow organisational policies to ensure security protocols are maintained during shifts
Experience
- Previous experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial work is preferred
- Familiarity with cleaning equipment and chemicals is advantageous
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high standards of cleanliness
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail are essential
- Reliable and punctual with a professional approach to duties
