Job description
We are currently looking to recruit experienced Healthcare Assistants to join the Brightpath Healthcare team, providing person-centred care to children and young people across our packages in Brixton, Ashford, Worcester Park, Lewisham, Tulse Hill, Peckham, Croydon and Oxted.
We are a dedicated team of Registered Clinical Nurse Managers, Clinical Educators, Paediatric Nurses, and Healthcare Assistants who support children and young people within their own homes and a variety of community settings, including hospices, SEND schools, adventure playgrounds, and foster placements.
Pay Rate: £14.30 – £18.89 per hour (depending on experience and package)
About the Role:
You will be supporting children with complex clinical needs, including:
- Tracheostomy care
- Suprapubic catheter care
- Jejunostomy care
- Oxygen saturation monitoring
- Medication administration
- Moving and handling
- Seizure management
- Personal care
- Brain injury support
What we’re looking for:
- Full-time Healthcare Assistants
- Flexibility to work Monday to Sunday
- Availability for both day and night shifts
- A patient, attentive, and friendly approach
- Previous care experience (preferred)
Employees may be required to accompany the child to and from school on the designated school bus when working during school hours. Further details regarding school arrangements will be discussed during the interview process.
