Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Female Deputy Manager to join our team at The Medusa Project. This role is pivotal in overseeing the daily operations of our therapeutic services, ensuring that we provide a safe and supportive environment for our children and young women. The Deputy Manager will play a key role in fostering emotional resilience and promoting independence among our children and young women.
Responsibilities
- Assist the Manager in overseeing the daily operations of our therapeutic home.
- Develop and implement individualised care plans for our young people, ensuring their emotional and physical needs are met.
- Supervise staff members, providing guidance and support to maintain high standards of care.
- Foster a positive environment that promotes emotional resilience and independence among all.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and organisational policies.
- Conduct regular assessments of young people's' progress and adjust care plans as necessary.
- Facilitate training sessions for staff on best practices in therapeutic care.
Requirements
- Proven experience in a managerial or supervisory role within a Children's Home setting.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Experience in developing care plans tailored to individual needs.
