2 Long Days per Week: 07:30 – 20:30
Some weekend working required

About the Role
My Client is well known, welcoming small nursing home dedicated to delivering high-quality, person-centred care to our residents. We are seeking an experienced and motivated Deputy Manager to support the Home Manager in the day-to-day running of the service.
This is a part-clinical and part-supernumerary position, offering an excellent opportunity for a Registered Nurse looking to develop their leadership career while maintaining hands-on clinical involvement.
Key Responsibilities
Support the Home Manager in the overall management of the home.
Provide strong clinical leadership and role modelling for the nursing and care teams.
Ensure high standards of care are delivered in line with regulatory requirements and best practice.
Assist with staff supervision, training, recruitment, and performance management.
Participate in audits, care planning reviews, and quality improvement initiatives.
Maintain accurate clinical records and ensure compliance with CQC standards.
Act as a senior point of contact for residents, families, healthcare professionals, and staff.
Support occupancy, safeguarding, health and safety, and infection control processes.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
A valid NMC PIN and current registration as a Registered Nurse.
Previous experience in a senior nursing or leadership role within a nursing home or care setting.
Strong clinical knowledge and excellent leadership skills.
Good understanding of CQC regulations and compliance requirements.
Excellent communication and organisational abilities.
A compassionate and resident-focused approach to care.
