Freelance TikTok Live Host – Beauty & Luxury FashionJob Summary
We are looking for a confident, bubbly and sales-driven Freelance TikTok Live Host to support two growing brands: Sweet One UK, a makeup and beauty brand, and Amour Haus London, a luxury fashion and accessories brand.
This is a hybrid freelance role based in London, near Stratford. Applicants must be able to travel for in-person live sessions when required.
The role involves hosting TikTok Shop live streams, showcasing products, running auctions and flash sales, engaging with viewers, creating excitement around offers, and helping convert viewers into customers.
We are not looking for someone who simply sits on live and quietly shows products. We want someone whose personality shines through — someone who can chat naturally, keep the conversation flowing, build a loyal community and make viewers feel like they are part of the live.
The ideal host should be confident talking on camera for long live sessions, telling stories, reacting to comments, building relationships with regular viewers, creating jokes, keeping the energy up and making the live feel fun, welcoming and entertaining. This is also a very sales-focused role, so the host must be able to confidently promote products, create urgency, encourage purchases and sell as much as possible in a natural, engaging way.
Brands
Sweet One UK
A makeup brand specialising in lip glosses, lip liners, lipsticks, liquid lipsticks, makeup brushes, beauty bundles and related beauty products. Most hours will be focused on Sweet One UK lives.
Amour Haus London
A luxury fashion and accessories brand focusing on second-hand and new designer pieces, including Coach bags and other premium fashion finds.
Duties & Responsibilities
You will be expected to:
- Host engaging TikTok Shop live streams for Sweet One UK and Amour Haus London
- Present makeup, beauty products, bags and fashion accessories confidently
- Demonstrate products, swatch makeup, show shades, explain product benefits and answer viewer questions
- Run live auctions, flash sales, giveaways, product features and promotional segments
- Chat naturally throughout the live, keep the conversation flowing and avoid long quiet gaps
- Build a community of regular viewers and returning customers
- Make viewers feel welcomed, noticed and involved in the live
- Create urgency around limited-time offers, low stock and live-only deals
- Encourage viewers to follow, like, share, comment and purchase during the live
- Keep the live stream fun, professional, energetic and organised
- Follow brand guidelines, product notes, pricing guidance and live instructions
- Represent both brands professionally and build trust with viewers
- Create short pre-heat videos before scheduled lives when required, usually around 15 seconds, to promote the upcoming live
- Monitor what performs well during lives and provide feedback where useful
Hours & Availability
For Sweet One UK, we are looking for someone who can commit to a minimum of 10 hours per week, usually around 10–20 hours weekly, depending on the live schedule, campaigns and sales periods.
Sweet One UK live sessions are usually a minimum of 3 hours long. Hosts may also be asked to complete 5-hour lives when needed. Occasional live marathon sessions of up to 10 hours may also be required, especially during weekends, payday weeks, sales campaigns, product launches and peak TikTok Shop periods.
The ideal candidate must be flexible and willing to take on additional hours during busy periods, especially on weekends, payday weeks and campaign periods.
For Amour Haus London, lives will usually be around 1–2 hours per week to begin with, subject to increase as the brand grows.
Late evening availability is important, and some lives may finish after midnight.
Location
This is a hybrid role based in London, near Stratford.
Applicants must be able to travel for in-person live sessions when required. Some work may be remote depending on the live setup, stock availability and schedule.
Pre-Heat Videos
Before scheduled lives, the host may be required to create a short 15-second pre-heat video to help promote the live and encourage viewers to join.
This may include a quick product preview, makeup swatch, styling clip, giveaway teaser, live reminder or “come join us live” style video.
Pay
This is a freelance role paid at the applicable minimum wage hourly rate, based on age and current UK minimum wage rates.
Performance bonuses/commission may be available depending on the type of live, sales generated and profitability of the live.
Auction lives may have a lower commission structure due to discounted pricing and variable margins. Flash sale and standard selling lives may qualify for higher bonuses.
Commission is calculated on eligible net product sales only. This means commission does not include discounts, coupons, vouchers, shipping fees, delivery charges, refunds, cancellations, free gifts, platform deductions or unauthorised discounts.
A small late-night bonus may apply for pre-agreed lives that run past 12am.
The pay and commission structure will be reviewed regularly and may be adjusted accordingly based on performance, sales results, profitability, live format, product margins and business needs. Any changes will apply to future live sessions only and will be confirmed in writing.
Contract
This is an initial 1-month freelance trial contract, with the possibility to extend if both parties are happy.

- Reliable, punctual and flexible with hours
- Able to speak clearly and keep viewers entertained
- Comfortable hosting auctions, flash sales and giveaways
- Able to learn product details and explain benefits clearly
- Professional and trustworthy when representing both brands
- Able to travel to the Stratford/London area when required
Experience with TikTok Live, TikTok Shop, beauty, fashion, retail, sales, presenting or content creation is preferred, but not essential if you have the right personality and confidence on camera.

You should be able to entertain viewers, chat naturally, tell stories, respond to comments, build relationships with regular customers and create a fun atmosphere. The live should feel like a community, not just a sales pitch.
At the same time, this is a sales-focused role. You must be confident promoting products, pushing offers, explaining value, encouraging viewers to buy and helping maximise sales during each live.
