Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated individual to join our team as a TIG Welder. This role involves working within a fabrication environment, specialising in welding and assembly tasks. The successful candidate will contribute to the creation and maintenance of high-quality metal components, ensuring all work adheres to safety and quality standards.
Duties
- Perform TIG welding on various materials, primarily sheet metal, using appropriate techniques to ensure strong, precise welds.
- Operate a range of hand tools, power tools, and specialised fabrication equipment to assemble components accurately.
- Fabricate, modify, and repair metal parts according to technical drawings and specifications.
- Work with sheet metal and other materials to produce custom parts or assemblies as required.
- Assist in the setup and calibration of welding equipment, maintaining safety protocols at all times.
- Conduct inspections of finished work for quality assurance, ensuring adherence to project standards.
- Maintain a clean and organised workspace, adhering to health and safety regulations at all times.
- Collaborate with team members on complex fabrication projects, providing mechanical support when necessary.
