Health & Social Care Officer
Location: Nottingham (Hybrid Working)
Rate: £14.82 per hour (PAYE) or £19.20 per hour (Umbrella)
Contract: Initial 3 Months (Potential Extension or Permanent Opportunity)
Hours: Full-time
Seven Resourcing are currently recruiting for a Health & Social Care Officer (HSCO) to join the front-door Adult Social Care team in Nottingham.
This is a fast-paced and rewarding role where you will be the first point of contact for referrals into adult social care, supporting vulnerable adults with a wide range of needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Triage and process adult social care referrals efficiently
- Handle referrals relating to safeguarding, care support, and occupational therapy
- Act as the first point of contact for incoming social care queries
- Assess information and direct cases to the appropriate services
- Support vulnerable adults, including those with complex needs
- Maintain accurate records and ensure timely case handling
Requirements
- Experience within health and social care or a similar setting
- Strong understanding of adult social care services and pathways
- Ability to manage high-volume referrals in a fast-paced environment
- Confident decision-making and triage skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to handle challenging or unpredictable situations
Working Arrangements
- Hybrid working: 50% office / 50% home-based
- Initial period fully office-based in Bilborough for training
- Supportive team environment with ongoing guidance
