About the Role
As a Care Manager, you’ll be central to the smooth running of the branch. You’ll coordinate care delivery, support care workers, and ensure our clients receive consistent, high-quality care that meets their needs and preferences.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and allocate care workers to client visits using effective rostering
- Ensure continuity of care, matching carers based on skills, location, and client preferences
- Manage new referrals from private clients and social services, ensuring thorough care planning
- Support the Branch Manager with identifying opportunities for business growth
- Ensure care workers are fully briefed on care packages, expectations, and pay rates
- Maintain accurate records using IT systems and office-based tools
- Communicate effectively with clients, care staff, and external professionals
You’ll Need:
- 3–6 months’ experience as a Care Coordinator in domiciliary care (essential)
- At least 12 months’ domiciliary care experience within the last 3 years (essential)
- Level 3 NVQ in Health & Social Care and working towards Level 4 (or willingness to enrol upon appointment)
- A full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle
- Good IT, communication, and office-based skills
- Flexibility to work every other weekend and provide on-call back-up
Desirable (but not essential):
- PASS and CP system knowledge
- ICT system experience
- Understanding of the CQC 5 Key Lines of Enquiry
