Job Overview
The Wine Press is looking to add a new Supervisor to our management team! This is a full-time, permanent position, with working hours that include evenings and weekends. Having a Personal License would be preferred, but is not required. We provide full training, but do expect at least a year of management experience.
The successful candidate will be working with a small, friendly team in a one of the best bars in Dundee. We value enthusiasm, an attention to detail, a can-do attitude, and an interest in professional development. Duties
- Running shifts and ensuring an exceptional guest experience.
- Taking reservations by phone and email, handling customer requests and queries.
- Taking an active role in training and the continual development of the team.
- Opening and closing the venue, with a focus on following cleaning lists and correct cash-up procedures.
- Putting together cheese and charcuterie boards and cooking simple tapas dishes; opening and closing down a small kitchen.
- Keeping Health and Safety and Food Safety checklists up to date; ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Placing and accepting orders, putting away deliveries.
Requirements
- At least a year of experience in a hospitality management position.
- A self-starting, positive, detail oriented personality
- Good teamwork and communication skills
- An interest in wine
