We are seeking a proactive and personable Sales Assistant to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in supporting sales operations, engaging with clients, and driving business growth. Duties
- Assist customers in selecting products and provide detailed information to facilitate purchase decisions
- Engage in B2B sales activities, establishing and maintaining strong relationships with business clients
- Negotiate terms and close sales effectively, ensuring customer satisfaction
- Manage client accounts and follow up on potential leads to maximise sales opportunities
- Coordinate with the wider team to ensure smooth sales processes and timely delivery of products or services
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and transactions using IT systems
- Support the organisation of promotional events or campaigns to boost product visibility
- Drive company vehicles as required for client meetings or product demonstrations
Skills
- Strong negotiation skills with the ability to influence and persuade clients effectively
- Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal
- Proven experience in customer service, demonstrating professionalism and attentiveness
- Knowledge of IT systems relevant to sales management and reporting
- Good organisational skills with the ability to manage time efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to drive safely and confidently, holding a valid driving licence
- Experience in B2B sales is desirable but not essential; training will be provided for suitable candidates
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
