Our ethos focuses on long-term dental health within a professional, calm, caring & friendly environment. Our practice offers General dentistry and Hygiene services as well as Cosmetic dentistry, Invisalign, Dental Implants.
Requirements:
· Appointment to this position is subject to satisfactory DBS checks, Hep B and relevant vaccines, assessment of qualification certificates & references.
· Be fully Qualified and GDC registered Dental nurse
· You must possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills - you will form part of our clinical team and lead by example
· Be willing to go the extra mile - providing our patients with a memorable dental experience is what we’re all about and you will have a key role in exceeding our patients’ expectations with your leadership of the clinical team
· Create a supportive and enjoyable environment for the team and assist in training dental nurses, engage with the team and lead them with a positive and proactive approach
· Have experience using SOE/ Exact/ (beneficial but not essential)
Your role:
· Provide clinical chair-side support to dentists
· Update patient records
· Set up decontamination of instruments
· Train junior staff and trainee dental nurse
· Comply with all health and safety rules and guidance, including PPE, COSHH, mercury handling, infection control, waste disposal etc
· Ensure adequate stocks of materials and other items
· Work very closely with the practice manager and principals to develop the practice and gain key experience within a rapidly expanding private practice
· Creating an enjoyable working environment for the team
· Assisting Practice manager with CQC and compliance duties
· Undertake audits
· Personable, positive and enthusiastic with a great customer focus
· Strong communication skills
· Provide excellent patient care
· Have a keen eye for detail
· Be self-motivated
