This is a fantastic opportunity if you are an experienced Nursery Practitioner looking to develop your career to the next level.
You will assist the Room Leader in providing high quality childcare in room.
Some of your responsibilities will include:-
- Ensuring the children are cared for in a happy and stimulating environment.
- Assist the Room Leader in managing all aspects of the rooms.
- Working in partnership with parents and carers
- Support children in their individual routines such as meals, nappies, sleep and outings
- Experience of being a key person including writing assessments and observations
- Safeguarding and promoting the health, safety and welfare of children
- Following and implementing all of the policies and procedures set out by the nursery.
- Be able to capture children's learning moments and record them.
- Responsible for leading and supporting a team of Nursery Nurses, ensuring all Key Person's tasks are completed.
You will need to have the following qualifications, training and experience:
- Minimum NVQ 3 childcare and education or recognised equivalent.
- A high degree of professionalism.
- A sound knowledge of child protection procedures.
- A sound knowledge of child development for children from birth to five years and understanding of the EYFS.
- Experience of working with children 0-5 years.
