Job Title: Care Technology Installer
Location: Field based covering Suffolk
Hours: 37.5 hours a week, Mon-Sun, 8:00am-6:00pm
Salary: £25,000, increasing to£27,000 following a successful 6 month probation

Purpose of the Role
To install, demonstrate, maintain and collect care technology in clients’ homes, ensuring every customer experiences safe, effective and compassionate service.
Key Outcomes
- 5 high‑quality visits per day (post‑training).
- Accurate onsite administration and documentation.
- Safe installation, testing and configuration of equipment.
- Excellent customer satisfaction and safeguarding practice.
Core Responsibilities
- Deliver, install, repair and collect Alcove technology in client homes.
- Support users to understand and use devices confidently.
- Complete all admin and testing before and after visits.
- Maintain stock and track equipment movements.
- Conduct dynamic risk assessments and escalate safeguarding concerns.
- Respond to emergency requests and collaborate with agencies.
- Cover short-term resourcing gaps across other areas as reasonably requested.
Skills, Knowledge & Behaviours
- Empathetic, patient and confident with vulnerable individuals.
- Highly organised with strong time management.
- Good technical competence; problem‑solver.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Role Requirements
- Monday-Friday with some weekend working.
- Full UK driving licence and own vehicle.
- GCSEs or equivalent.
- Regular travel within assigned region.
