Summary
At Flakefleet Primary School, strong relationships, inclusion and kindness are at the heart of all we do. We are seeking a caring and proactive Welfare Assistant to provide lunchtime pastoral support for a Year 6 pupil with an EHCP.
The role involves encouraging positive peer relationships, supporting emotional wellbeing during less structured times, and acting as a trusted and consistent adult mentor within the school day.
The successful candidate will be warm, approachable and able to build positive relationships with children whilst promoting confidence, independence and a sense of belonging. Experience of supporting pupils with SEND and/or EHCPs would be beneficial.
