We are seeking a highly skilled and strategic Finance Manager to oversee the financial health of our organisation. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing financial planning, accounting, and reporting processes, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and providing valuable insights to support organisational growth. This role requires strong leadership qualities, excellent analytical skills, and a comprehensive understanding of financial management within a dynamic business environment.
Responsibilities
- Lead the development and implementation of financial strategies aligned with organisational goals.
- Oversee financial accounting processes, including ledger management, accounts payable, and receivable.
- Monitor and control costs to optimise organisational efficiency and profitability.
- Prepare detailed financial reports, forecasts, and budgets for senior management review.
- Ensure compliance with statutory regulations and internal policies related to financial operations.
- Manage the organisation’s financial services, including banking relationships and investment activities.
- Provide leadership to the finance team, fostering professional development and high-performance standards.
- Conduct risk assessments and implement effective internal controls to safeguard assets.
- Collaborate with other departments to support strategic initiatives through sound financial planning.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in financial management, accounting, or related roles within a corporate setting.
- Strong knowledge of financial services, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Demonstrable leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop teams.
- Expertise in financial planning, cost control, and budget management.
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Relevant professional qualifications such as ACCA, CIMA or ACA are preferred.
