Partners for Inclusion is looking for an Assistant Service Leader to join our Support Services team in Renfrewshire. We are an independent charity providing highly individualised support to people with learning disabilities, physical disabilities and/or mental health needs. Our approach is rooted in human rights and person-led practice, believing everyone has the right to live their best life, shape their own support, and achieve their goals
This is an exciting opportunity for someone with social care experience who is ready to take the next step into leadership, supporting day-to-day coordination, coaching colleagues and promoting safe, effective support.
About the role
As Assistant Service Leader, you will support confident, accountable teams by;
- Promoting consistent practice
- Contributing to reviews and planning,
- Supporting quality assurance and acting as a key link between the team and the Service Leader.
- You will help ensure support reflects the Health and Social Care Standards, SSSC Codes of Practice and Care Inspectorate expectations, while promoting independence, inclusion, choice and control.
- Participate in the organisational on-call rota, offering out-of-hours guidance
About you
We are looking for someone compassionate, organised and confident, with social care experience, person-centred values and the ability to build positive relationships with people supported, families, colleagues and professionals.
You should be willing to develop your leadership skills, support team learning and contribute to reflection, accountability and continuous improvement. SVQ 3 is required, with a commitment to complete SVQ 4 in Social Services and Healthcare and be a member of the PVG Scheme.
