Emerson is looking for an Area Sales Manager covering the South region of the UK, responsible for the Fluid and Motion Control portfolio.
The growth and development of new and existing business in the area is paramount in this role. The generation of new business in this aspect covers sales to all customers, OEM’s, contractors, large end users and covers all major segments including, but not limited to, Factory Automation and Industrial Automation.
Working to achieve agreed sales targets, the Area Sales Manager is required to grow the business throughout the designated territory through existing and new customers.
The Area Sales Manager will report to the UK & Ireland Sales Manager, selling the complete specified portfolio of products, services, systems, and solutions.

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
- Managing and developing the assigned territory, driving sustainable sales growth in line with targets.
- Identify and secure new business opportunities, building a strong pipeline and converting prospects into long-term customers.
- Growing and expanding existing accounts, with a focus on key and strategic customers.
- Developing and executing territory sales plans aligned with UK, Ireland, and Northern Europe strategies.
- Apply a solution-selling approach, understanding customer needs and delivering tailored Fluid & Motion Control solutions.
- Building and maintaining strong customer relationships to support ongoing business growth.
- Maintain accurate sales data and pipeline visibility within Salesforce CRM.
Collaborating with internal teams to support pricing, compliance, and overall business performance.

- Engineering Degree, or other relevant qualification
- Demonstrated sales experience with proven track record.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Direct and interactive computer skills and electronic business interfaces.
- Proactive and high-energy style.
Willingness to travelling to customer’s sites

- CRM experience (Salesforce preferred)
Relevant industry experience within UK is desirable (process, life-science, food and beverage, etc).
