Sports Graduate / Ex-Athlete – Graduate Teaching Assistant & Coach

We are recruiting sports professionals and former athletes to transition into education as 1:1 Mentors, Learning Support Assistants (LSAs), and Teaching Assistants with integrated Sports Coaching duties.
The Role
This is not a standard desk job. You will split your time between academic support and pupil development:
- 1:1 Mentoring: Guide disengaged or vulnerable students to build confidence and focus.
- Learning Support: Help students overcome academic barriers inside the classroom.
- Sports Coaching: Lead lunchtime, after-school, and PE sessions to inspire active lifestyles.
- Role Modelling: Use your sporting background to teach discipline, teamwork, and resilience.

Requirements
- A background in professional, semi-professional, or high-level academy sport.
- Passion for working with children and young people.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to pass an enhanced background check (DBS).
- Experience coaching or supporting children/young adults is highly desirable.
