We are currently recruiting a HGV, 7.5 tonne Driver to join their dedicated team in Macclesfield for on-going work. Immediate start available with consistent hours. You will be working on 7.5 tonne vehicle, you’ll play a key role in ensuring waste is collected and disposed of efficiently and responsibly while contributing to their ongoing success.
Working Monday to Friday 06:00 - 14:00 Every 3rd Sunday 06:00 - 14:00 but will get the following Friday off.
Duties will include driving a 7.5 ton vehicle round a site collecting 1100 litre wheelie bins and various other waste. And adhoc collections. Bringing waste back to the waste yard for sorting and bailing. This job is 80% manual labour and 20% driving. This role is physically demanding, you are always paired up with a second man on the wagon.
Job description
Safely operate 7.5 tonne vehicle, for waste collection.
Work closely with a team of loaders to complete scheduled routes.
Adhere to all health and safety guidelines and road regulations.
Provide excellent customer service to the public when required.

Requirements:
Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence
CPC and Digital Tachograph card
Minimum 6 months experience preferred
Good understanding of UK driving regulations
