Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Cleaner to maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards across various commercial premises. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing routine cleaning tasks efficiently and thoroughly, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for staff and visitors alike. Previous janitorial experience and knowledge of commercial cleaning practices are highly desirable.
Duties
- Carry out general cleaning of offices, washrooms, corridors, and communal areas using appropriate cleaning equipment and products.
- Sweep, mop, vacuum, and dust surfaces to maintain a high standard of cleanliness.
- Restock supplies such as toilet paper, hand towels, and soap dispensers as required.
- Dispose of waste responsibly and ensure bins are emptied regularly.
- Follow health and safety guidelines to prevent accidents or contamination during cleaning procedures.
- Report any maintenance issues or damages identified during cleaning to the relevant department promptly.
- Maintain a clean and organised storage area for cleaning supplies and equipment.
Requirements
- Proven experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial work is preferred.
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, equipment, and safety procedures.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining attention to detail.
- Good organisational skills and reliability in completing assigned tasks on time.
- Physical fitness to perform manual tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
