Panel Beater
Location: Newcastle upon Tyne, Tyne & Wear
Shift: Monday-Friday, 07:00-15:30
Pay Rate: £19.21-£21.54 per hour
Contract: Full-Time, Ongoing Work
We are seeking skilled and motivated Panel Beaters to join our client's team in Newcastle. You will be working on a variety of vehicle makes and models, ensuring high standards of repairs and workmanship within a busy automotive bodyshop environment.
The Role:
- Realigning damaged vehicle panels
- Stripping and refitting vehicle components
- Fitting new panels and body parts
- Applying filler to repair damaged body panels
- Finishing repairs to match the surrounding bodywork
- Carrying out panel repair and replacement work in line with manufacturer standards
- Inspecting completed work to ensure quality standards are achieved
- Working efficiently to maintain workshop productivity and repair targets
Experience & Qualifications:
- Previous experience working as a Panel Beater within an automotive bodyshop
- Comprehensive knowledge of modern vehicle repair methods
- Ability to demonstrate experience across all aspects of panel repair and replacement
- Must have own hand tools, including hammers and blocks
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- Ability to work efficiently while maintaining high standards
- Full UK Driving Licence with no more than 6 points for minor offences
