We are currently recruiting for a Warehouse Operative to join the Warehouse team based at our Cramlington site. This role is both permanent and full time, working a triple shift (earlies, nights and evenings).
Key Areas of Responsibility
- Control and movement of product on to the customer
- Help with training and development of the Warehouse & Despatch team
- Help with timely deliveries against customer expectations
- Help develop CI opportunities within the department
- Help with Quality concerns and internal process amends
- Review emails and respond
- Check complaints, investigate and review with Supervisor
- Look into any distribution /courier issues
- Walk warehouse, review with Supervisor of any issues
- Assist to ensure month end stock counts are completed
- To perform ASI’s (Area Safety inspections)
- Help with monitoring all stock takes throughout the year
- Help with timely deliveries against customer expectations. Reacting to Despatching and picking daily
- Support the IAM’s (Internal Account Manager) function through clear communication
- Establish good relationships across departments
- Filing and general admin across the department
- Maintenance and good housekeeping
- To adhere to the companies Health & Safety policies
