Kitchen Assistant (10 Hours) | School Hours | Paid Birthday Off | Outstanding Nursery

At Little Blossoms Childcare, we know that healthy meals, warm interactions and a well-run kitchen play a huge part in creating happy childhoods. We’re looking for a friendly, reliable Kitchen Assistant to join our team.
Hours: Monday-Friday, 11:00am-1:00pm (10 hours per week)
Additional hours available when covering the Nursery Cook during annual leave or absence (typically 9:15am-1:45pm).
What You’ll Do
- Support the Nursery Cook with preparing meals and snacks.
- Help maintain excellent hygiene standards through our 2-step cleaning procedures.
- Assist with kitchen clean-up and organisation.
- Support stock control, food rotation and shopping orders.
- Complete food safety records and Safer Food Better Business paperwork.
- Provide cover for the Nursery Cook when required.
