About the Role
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our golf course maintenance team as a Qualified Greenkeeper / Mechanic or a Greenkeeper with a strong interest in training as a Mechanic.
This is an excellent opportunity to work within a professional environment, maintaining both the golf course and the machinery essential to its presentation and performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintenance and preparation of the golf course to a high standard.
- Servicing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of turf care machinery and equipment.
- Diagnosing mechanical faults and carrying out repairs efficiently.
- Assisting with daily course maintenance tasks as required.
- Ensuring all machinery is maintained in a safe and operational condition.
- Following health and safety procedures at all times.
The Ideal Candidate
Essential:
- Experience working as a Greenkeeper and/or Mechanic.
- Good understanding of golf course maintenance practices.
- Strong work ethic and ability to work as part of a team.
- NVQ Lvl 2 or above in sports turf care.
- PA1, PA2, and PA6 spraying certificates.
Desirable:
- Digger operating.
- Experience maintaining turf machinery.
- Irrigation experience.
