SEN Teaching Assistant – Hounslow
Location: Hounslow, West London
Pay: £93 - £110 per day
Start Date: ASAP
Contract: Full-Time, Term Time Only
We are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and supportive school in Hounslow.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Teaching Assistant or someone with a strong background supporting children with Special Educational Needs (SEN), including Autism (ASC), ADHD, SEMH, speech and language difficulties, and learning needs.
The Role
- Supporting pupils on a 1:1 basis and in small groups
- Assisting students with their academic, social, and emotional development
- Implementing strategies to support behaviour and engagement
- Working closely with teachers, SENCOs, and external professionals
- Creating a positive, nurturing, and inclusive learning environment
The Ideal Candidate
- Previous experience working with children with SEN
- Strong behaviour management skills
- Patient, proactive, and resilient approach
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
