- Role: Kitchen/Domestic Assistant
- Location: Ingersley Court Care Home - Lowther Street, Bollington, Macclesfield
- Schedule: 080.00-17.00 - Alternate Weekends
- Contract: Full or part time position available
- Salary: £12.71

Kitchen Assistant Duties;
- Ensure that the Cook-in-charge is kept informed of any changes or problems that occur during his/her absence.
- Ensuring the correct storage and rotation of stocks.
- Ensure that a good standard of hygiene and cleanliness is maintained throughout the kitchen, to meet the required standards of practice prescribed by Environmental Health Agencies
- Ensure that all machines are used correctly, cleaned and stored. Any faults or damage is to be reported immediately.
Domestic Assistant Duties;
- General cleaning around the home (e.g. floors, rooms, furniture etc...)
- Restock toiletries, soaps, towels etc. as and when required
- Adhere to the care home’s disposal of waste policy.
- Report immediately to the Home Manager or the person in charge, any accident incurred by a service user, colleague, self or another.
- Report to the Home Manager or the Handyperson any faulty
- Report and record in the appropriate manner any information considered to be important to the Homes Manager
Requirements:
